Get up close and personal with Thailand's most iconic natural inhabitants at Tiger Kingdom - Chiang Mai. The park provides a home for these gorgeous cats, and the skilled staff will help you to decide which one you want to pet and have a photo with. Heed the advice and guidance of the keepers: tigers are wild animals and their docile, welcoming behavior from one moment to the next is not something to be taken for granted. This place is a joke, it is treating tigers like pets, they are taking exuberant amount of money to shoot with tigers. Not worth the money, our heart sank when we saw these tigers who have lost their natural instinct and are paraded like circus animals. Maintenance is not good. Too much of show off. This place made us realize that places to visit here in Northern Thailand are BUDDHIST TEMPLES. We canceled rest of our visits to Cobra, Elephant safari and all, because similar things you can see in India as well at Zoo or National Parks in more natural conditions, Banerghetta National Park is better.

This is not the ideal way to keep animal but for now it is the best way because they do not have natural habitat anymore. The tiger are well taken care of, they are active or lazy depends on their age, the time and temperature of the day. The staff are very friendly and love the tigers. The place is relatively clean and airy. If you cannot go on a multi days safari in Nepal and want to see the beauty of them, this is the place. The people that say this is cruel, I hope they are doing something more practical to protect the species because more and more are extinct because no action is made
