    Very splendid temple with nice Thai mural paintings. Typical northern style of decorations are seen throughout the place. Would recommend to visit in early hours to avoid crowds.

    Beautiful historical site that is very well-preserved. Worth seeing because every nooks and crannies are filled with detail and story of Lanna. The first temple on the left hand side of the entrance looks stunning with the exquisite detail of interior beauty. Glistening and gleaming with gold colour. When you come to the temple around November to December, people put up the paper lanterns for good luck around the temple. The monks will fill each lantern with the light bulb later. If you come to Chiang Mai, this is one of the must-see sites to visit.
