The old cave paintings of Viking Cave remain a mystery even today, as depictions of old European boats and Arabic iconography raise the questions of how and why they got there. Due to the population of nesting swallows in the cave, the locals now gather the valuable commodity of bird nests (made out of the swallows' saliva) from the walls. The abundance of scaffolding, people, and birds in the area mean that entrance into the cave is rarely permitted. Most likely, you’ll by passing by via boat and your guide will recount the history of the cave. Put Viking Cave and other Ko Phi Phi Don attractions into our Ko Phi Phi Don trip builder site, and watch your holiday take shape.

Wow this was spectacular, taking a boat tour around the islands is stunning. I'd recommend the 2pm one cause it includes being in the waters to embrace the one of a kind scenic sunset. The boats are extremely unique. The drivers are very polite and know what they're doing, you always feel safe. You'll get to experience snorkeling and seeing tons of life under the water. They'll feed you, you get to interact with diverse tourists. Swim in exotic places, and you get to have a look at the famous Maya Beach. All for only 400 baht. This was a life changing experience for me. We met amazing people, they give you enough water to suffice, and teach you how to cut pineapples the traditional Thai way. You get to see plankton too if you'd want to. Wow, take me back there:(

Nice to look at but cannot go inside. People live inside and harvest bird nests for bird nest soup. There is also apparently 400 year old paintings inside cave, thus viking cave but you are unable to see these. The outside opening is very jagged with bamboo poles in it
