  Chiang Mai Zoo used to allow you to drive your car around. But.... Now you can't. You have to herd onto busses with no social distancing or pay to hire a golf cart - we left our number to be called...  more »

  Quite sure good zoo complex, well laid out and takes a good day to get around. Most of the attractions were well kept. There is a monorail that you can ride and the kids enjoyed being able to feed elephants and ride ponies. They have a good range of animals and the enclosures are set out for reasonably good viewing. There is a food hall for lunch and plenty of other snacks available.

  Awesome zoo. Different style comparing to modern European zoos but definitely worth visiting. Animals are in more natural environment. I wish I had more time there. My kids were amazed too. Pandas (Chiang Mai Zoo is one of 16 zoos outside the China that have pandas), koalas, and much more.
