At Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA), a privately owned gallery, see a well curated collection of artworks fusing traditional Thai art and modern art. The collection includes paintings and sculptures from both local and foreign artists representing several generations of Thai culture. Before browsing the gallery, take a moment to admire the artwork of the building itself. From a distance it appears to be hewn out of a single block of granite, with ornate openwork carvings adorning the facade. Final touch and our BKK trip is almost over. We took the train and headed towards the museum for some extraordinary exhibition in place. Great pieces of art and creative touch. Go there and enjoy ♥️ more »

Great museum. Beautiful space. Thai modern art has its own sense of style, flair, and swagger. A confident blend of Thai tradition, Buddhist themes, and influences from the Italian Renaissance. Definitely worth the visit.

What an amazing museum! We spent a few hours here in the summer of 2018 and it was relatively empty which gave us the ability to go around and take lots of photos. The architecture alone is stunning and the permanent and temporary exhibits were well-curated and powerful. Cannot say enough nice things about this place. We'll be sure to visit again in the future.
