Plunging from a height of 200 m (656 ft), Simmenfalle offers great photo opportunities. The best view of the thundering cascades is from the Barbarabrucke bridge, built as a barrage for preventing the flooding of the valley. A narrow, rugged footpath that winds up hill to the origin of the River Simme is well worth following. A restaurant at the base of the waterfall is a good place to stop and refresh on the way back.     Hiking up to the Simmenfalle was an experience and experiencing it in person was great. I was on my own with family down at the restaurant. I had my camera bag and stand with me which was helpful and manage to take some great shots of the 7 heads...it will go down as a great day in my book.
