The structure stretches 8 km (5 mi) across the Oresund Strait, connecting Denmark and Sweden. Its construction began in 1995, and it has become a symbol of unity between nations since Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark and Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden celebrated its completion in 1999. • Went across by rail and the bridge offered us some stunning views and a simple, easy way to take in Malmö when visiting Copenhagen. TIP:If you're not a solo traveller buy your single tickets from Malmö under one purchase as you qualify for a group discount.
  • Beautiful bridge connecting Sweden and Denmark. With this bridge Sweden and Finland got connected to mainland Europe by road. This bridge has duel lane road and double track rail line. Interesting fact is, a part of the bridge is submarine tunnel on the Danish side. It is in fact one of the largest bridge in the Scandinavia and funded by both Swedish and Danish government.
