If you are in to trekking and mountain hike, this is the place. One of the most beautiful places in Lapland. Plenty of well marked trails to follow. The "Kings Trial" Kungsleden starts here at the... more »
This is a beautiful place to visit. Suitable for longer day hikes, or a short visit to the waterfall and the lake shore. Start at the visitor center for information on the area and the wildlife. Higher up in the mountains you’ll likely see reindeer herds on the snow patches.
A very beautiful national park in the northern part of the Swedish mountains, many nice trails and mountain streams. The ski lift in Abisko is also open during the summer, which means that you can walk on the trails up at the top of the mountain, there are also trails that go up to the top but these can be a bit demanding. Abisko is a very good place for those who want to see the northern lights.
