Pinel Island, Saint-Martin

4.1
#2 of 6 in Nature in St. Maarten-St. Martin
Island · Nature / Park
Take a boat ride out to the soft sands of Pinel Island, and enjoy a sheltered beach with calm waters, lethargic iguanas basking in the sun, and lovely hiking trails circumnavigating the island. There’s great snorkeling to be had in the sandy-bottomed bay, and cold beverages to be enjoyed at the beach huts, which also serve food and sell basic beach supplies. Consider arriving early, as the beach will likely get busy. It’s worth bringing your own shade in the event that the beach's loungers and umbrellas are all taken.
