One man's obsessive toy collection eventually became L'Iber Museo de Los Soldaditos de Plomo, where over 85,000 tiny toy soldiers are arranged in elaborate displays. These figurines are not child's play, displayed in scenes recreating battles from the Napoleonic Wars, the procession of Corpus Christi, and the Battle of Almansa. The details in each miniature are such that even the fabric of the clothes seem to be blowing in the wind. Located next to the Cathedral of Valencia, the museum makes an attractive addition to the neighborhood’s romantic streets.     Very cool museum, mostly painted figurines reenacting scenes from history, legend, comics. In a lovely old building and interspersed with artifacts you might expect in a more serious museum. Fun for.....  more »

    Extensive and fairly interesting models, mainly of battles and other military scenes but also scenes from Valencia, the Bible, ancient history and some models of characters from cartoons and books. It's pricey (8 euro for an adult) compared to other Valencia museums. The labels are limited and only in Spanish.

    It’s worth a visit as never seen so many small models and scenes all in one place. Would be good however if some captions were given to explain the scenes
