Must see · Zoo · Zoo / Aquarium
For a change of pace from the cultural sites for which this city is renowned, visit Bioparc Valencia, an innovative and eco-friendly zoo aiming to immerse its visitors into the animals’ habitats. Skillfully combining education and conservation, this park avoids the traditional enclosures and cages common to most zoos. Instead, the park’s animal inhabitants are separated from visitors by a series of rivers, ponds, streams, and rock outcroppings. This creates an impression that wild animals roam freely around you as you explore various habitats. While on your safari-like experience, remember that touching or feeding the animals is strictly forbidden. The park also has a cafe serving light snacks and refreshing drinks. Make Bioparc Valencia part of your personalized Valencia itinerary using our Valencia route planner.

  • Really nice zoo. It's set up nicely so it doesn't feel as fenced as other zoos. The restaurant in the place is really good. Knowledgeable about gluten-free. I had the paella which was really yummy then sat out on the terrace watching the rhinos, zebras and ostriches. Where else could you do that
  • Not bad. It’s a great place to hang out for the day with family (instead of on electronic devices). You have to think outside the box. Yes I am sure we all have been to many zoos. But this one is different. Don’t rush it. Take your time, and if you lucky they animals will roam to you. The facilities are quite extraordinary.
