A former cathedral turned into a military citadel, Turo Seu Vella can be seen on the hilltop from anywhere in the city. Many of the religious artifacts and artwork have been removed, but the atmosphere is worth experiencing. Climb to the top of its tower for fantastic views, and be sure to check out the cloister open on one side. Take a guide or you may miss a lot of interesting details about the site.     A very modern city, not particularly appealing with mainly multi storey buildings, poor quarters and many wanderers. In the middle of the darkness some light with the castle and old cathedral perched....  more »

    The tour was in castellano but I think they do tours in English during summer. The guide was very knowledgeable. The cathedral is undergoing extensive renovations do part of it were out of bounds...  more »

    This is a nicely done active restoration of a small castle and cathedral. Still in use for local activities, it has decent bathrooms and directions. Great views of Lleida, still could use additional expansion for more detailed historical stuff.

    Church was amazing, beatifull view from the bell tower. Nice bar. Only the castle was very small. Great if you take a full tour ticket but not worth the 3€ for only the castle.
