Wander through the courtyards, halls, and corridors of Nasrid Palaces, the dwelling of the kings of Granada, and discover its secret spots. Dating back to the 14th century, the palatial complex was built near the Great Mosque and boasted three independent areas: one housing administration, the other serving as the king's official residence, and the last the private royal quarters, where the harem was located--notice how the artwork and decoration differs according to their functions. Note that you need to buy tickets at least a month ahead, especially if you plan to visit during the peak season. With our international travel planner, Granada attractions like Nasrid Palaces can be center stage of your vacation plans, and you can find out about other attractions like it, unlike it, near it, and miles away.

Truly amazing. One of the best preserved/restored examples of Moorish architecture in Europe. The site attracts a ton of tourists, so buy tickets in advance (don't use a tour group, the audio guide is fine, if you want commentary while you visit), and be prepared to be patient if you visit during July or August (mostly because of the previously mentioned tour groups). Regardless the site is unforgettable & well worth navigating a crowd.

Beautiful.. I have been many places .. but after seeing this palace you'll be amazed at its majestic walls, ceiling.. in fact I'd go as far as saying if you think cathedral is amazing.. which it sure is .. go to this palace its older and not looked after but one word WOW!! Have to see it to know what I mean .. 4d work on walls. This after all the plundering and neglect. If you are going Spain.. visit it highly highly recommended
