    Went up to here when visiting frigiliana. Well worth the effort and climb to get there as the views are quite spectacular. Frigiliana is a really special place.  more »

    A uphill walk via narrow lanes to the castle is very rewarding. The old buildings on the way are interesting to look st and there is a watering hole if you want one to quench your thirst. The view.....  more »

    This is all about the history NOT a castle. There’s nothing left. One can imagine the long demolished,immense fortress atop the rocky vantage point . The last stand of battles on the cliff tops with the sheer drop down the ravine to the winding river below. Look into the 12 plaques in the town describing the events and then hike up with the knowledge.
