Placa del Castell, Benidorm

Historic Walking Area · Hidden Gem · Landmark
Perched high above Benidorm and its beaches, the blue and white tiled Placa del Castell offers sweeping views of the high-rise buildings and bays below. Have a sangria under the Moroccan blue spires and canopies before heading down the white steps to a balcony over the sea. If you're lucky, you may catch a traditional Spanish wedding taking place on the plaza. Musicians often frequent the area, providing accompaniment to the refreshing sea breezes and placid vistas. • CURRENTLY CLOSED! Very important to know it's currently closed (Mirador & Balcony) for archeological searches until November 1, 2019.
  • Fab views of Benidorm across the bay. Part of a great walk.
