Fascinatingly geometric, Casa Amatller represents a prime example of the Modernisme architectural style. Considered one of the three most important buildings in Barcelona, the 20th-century structure features a pyramid-like roof and an interior lined with intricate columns and stained-glass windows. It was originally built for chocolatier Amatller Antoni Costa, and the ground floor of the residence has been restored to preserve the atmosphere of its first owner. Tours of the house are offered at specific times and for small groups; book tickets in advance or in the lobby of the building. Gothic, Victorian and Arabic styles combined in a one place. As a huge fan of chocolate I recomend this place because after you have a look to every detail of this house with it's unique atmosphere you can enjoy hot chocolate. And it's important to mention that every room has it's own mood, unique furniture and details. It wasn't crowded and that a big advantage because you'll feel free and enjoy your tour
