Castillo de Santa Barbara Reviews
Got lift up to this amazing castle. The views from all parts are stunning, and some interesting history as well. There are several cafes to choose from. We walked back to town through the park. Not... more »
The Castle was closed for three days due to Storm Gloria but we did get to visit when it opened on the fourth day. The lift avoids the steep uphill climb and is free to pensioners but you must... more »
Excellent. The lift from the beach path is only 2.70 euros. The castle is free. There are loads of places to take photos of the city, beaches and countryside. There are also a few exhibition rooms if you like that sort of thing. There are at least three places to get snacks. One of these is more of a restaurant with amazing views. There are very clean public toilets. Overall, well worth a visit.
Beautiful medieval castle. It's great to know that there was a lift just opposite the main beach or we would have never found it. It's totally worth going up as you can see 360 view of amazing Alicante. There's a cute cafe where you can have food, drinks and ice cream and there are toilets too!
