See thousands of colorful birds in flight at Jurong Bird Park, where you can attend regular live shows and feedings. Rare and exotic birds abound at the open-air aviary, from flocks of pink flamingos to rainbow-colored parrots. You can even get up close to penguins in their icy habitat. Make sure to visit the waterfall aviary, a free-flight habitat centered around a 13-storey cascade. Sightsee without tiring yourself by getting around the park on a hoop-on, hop-off tram. Best place for nature loving persons. You are amidst various types of birds and greenery. Birds are staying freely in this area and they are not scared of visiting public. Tickets for this attraction were part of 4 packages we bought at Singapore Zoo though this place is situated at a different location. I went there with wife and adult children. Had a wonderful and memorable time. There’s a bird show also (held twice a day for about half hour duration) wherein the trained birds perform various tasks and they can even talk to the trainer. There are trams to take you to various places so that you don’t waste time to visit various locations. Guidance/information boards are plenty and they don’t confuse you. Very well conceived, executed and maintained. There's a waterfall aviary too. On overall just too good an attraction. It’s a must visit attraction in Singapore.

An underrated but lovely and well maintained park. Part nature walk, part conservation zoo, it is well worth the hike to Jurong (honestly not that bad). The Bird Park is brimming with natural life, trees and bushes, making it a very pleasant ramble. Bird cages and aviaries are well documented, the range of birds very wide from cassowaries to parakeets. There's a lovely water play area to reward little ones at the end of the journey. An all-round great surprise, warmly recommended.
