Visit one of the largest Orthodox buildings and churches in the world,St. Sava Temple, a prominent landmark from numerous points in the city. Symbolically, it sits at the sight where Ottoman forces incinerated the remains of St. Sava--the founder of the Serbian Orthodox Church. Its 8,162 sq m (87,855 sq ft) interior spaces, with two floors and several galleries, can host around 10,000 worshippers. The basement holds the crypt of Saint Sava and the grave of the medieval Prince Lazar, responsible for creating the most powerful Serbian state in history. See this 82 m (269 ft) tall structure, featuring white marble walls and 19 gilded crosses, and visit the surrounding park with decorative fountains. This orthodox temple is astounding .The upper one is still under construction inside but the lower one is marvelous. It 's flooded with lights from the biggest chandeliers I've ever seen. The ceiling and walls are decorated with bible pictures and saints and gilded which makes it so rich. It seemed heaven to me.

The temple is gorgeous and huge. This is one of the biggest in Europe. Upper (central) part of the temple is still not finished, currently painting and other works are in progress, but it’s really great that crypt of the temple can be visited while works on the upper part of temple are in progress. The crypt is really a must see, no words to describe how beautiful it is. Outstanding chandelier, murals and everything else that is inside the crypt.
