The 20 ton (44,000 lb) pavilion, which consists of 1,500 sculptures and ornaments, won the Grand-Prix and the Grand Golden Medal at the 1900 Paris World Fair. View this elaborate creation and tour the museum to see famous paintings that date back to the 14th century.     This is not a very large museum but it has a surprisingly good collection of Russian Art. Besides the unique collection of local Kasli cast-iron sculptures there are paintings by Aivazovsky, Bryulov.....  more »

    Nice place, fine arts . Walking distance from the main square. Tickets are cheap, one or two hours to see whole exhibition.
