Built in 1722, this Russian Orthodox church is one of the most renowned churches in Naryshkin Baroque. Consecrated in honor of Tsar Peter I of Russia, the cathedral is known for its colorful decor, style of decoration, and high ceilings. Admire the upper altar of the cathedral from the front staircase leading to it. The miracle-working icon of the Mother of God of Smolensk and of The Seven Lakes, carefully transferred from the Church of of the Miracle Workers, is one of the most sacred objects in the cathedral.
