Refurbished in preparation for Pope Francis' visit in 2015, Catedral de Nuestra Senora de la Asuncion still contains some features dating back to the 1680s. The building's exterior displays a Baroque architectural style, featuring two towers symmetrically placed either side of the main entrance. Inside, you'll find religious artworks from the 16th and 17th centuries, and a grand, gilded altar.
