    Unfortunatley the place appared dirty, and bad smell around the displays. alot of the animals displayes also appeard to have seen their best part of life. In average the place need a good upgrade and....  more »

    Can’t really review the museum as it was closed ! There was major renovations going on as the whole building was wrapped in polythene . Brought a ticket for the Viking museum which also covers the...  more »

    I really enjoyed my visit. On quite a small budget and managed to get in with my student card. Pretty small but packed full of stuff and info, spent about 2-3 hours inside. My favourite bit was the rock section despite the geological museum being closed it was still interesting. My advice for non Norwegian speakers would to have Google translate at the ready. I managed fine. Also got a cool rock in the shop!

    Varied displays with a lot of actual things being displayed instead of just walls of text. Doesn't go that deep in their information plaques, which made me feel like I was missing out on interesting details on the pieces I found fascinating. The electronic displays were of wildly varying quality, with the English lane text being missing on most displays as well as some displays being missing entirely.
