  Fascinated by Amundsen's historic voyages of discovery, I was particularly keen to visit his home. I was pleased to find that it has been preserved exactly as he left it to embark on the final trip.....  more »

  A very interesting tour of the house with a good in-depth explanation of Roald's life journey. Lots of good things for kids to look at, and it leaves you with a lot of respect for explorers of that...  more »

  Beautiful location, not do far from Oslo. You can even go swimming nearby if weather allows. The house tour was good. It gave insight into Roald Amundsen's life and how he lived as an adult. He staged many of his most famous expiditons from this location.

  Fascinating to see where Amundsen made his home in Norway. A home with a magnificent view but far from the beaten track. The house was not open when we visited.
