  We stopped off the see this stave church and were happy to pay the NOK 80/person to enter the museum of old wooden barns and have access to the beautiful church, with a guide, who was great. We were.....  more »

  Beautiful church! Be sure to take your time to catch the details, like the rune carvings on the central pillar or the vast wall painings. As its only 3 minutes off the min road, it's absolutely worth your time!

  The stave church of Nore is very beautiful. It is located in a small hill with a lot of woods surrounding the place. It is a quiet small stave church nur it is worth a visit in any case. Nore stave church was built in the year 1167. Walking around the place and making photos or just have some quiet minutes ans join zur atmosphere of the place is very nice. A visit worth in any case.
