    A free museum if you do not want a guided tour, but the guided tour is recommended! A tour through an important part of Norwegian industrial history, definitely worth a visit!  more »

    I wasn't sure if a klippfish museum was something for me, but it was truly great. The history of klippfish is kinda the history of Kristiansund, so it was a nice way to learn more about this...  more »

    It is very sad to say: But although this place ought to be THE major tourist attraction of Kristiansund featuring the core aspects of its history and identity, the label 'museum' does not fit to this place. It is just a filling of a huge building with anything that could have to do with the Klippfisk. Apprantly, there was nobody to sit down and give it a thought how a foreigner and a tourist can be helped to understand this major theme of this area and Norway.
