Flåm Church is a parish church in Aurland Municipality in Sogn og Fjordane county, Norway. It is located in the village of Flåm. The church is part of the Flåm parish in the Indre Sogn deanery in the Diocese of Bjørgvin. The brown, wooden church, which has about 160 seats, was built by master builder Magne Essen in 1670. The present church replaced an older stave church on the same site that was demolished in 1670.

  • Lovely walk through Flam and then came to this church. It is a nice pretty church and well worth having a look as you go through the tourist town.  more »

  • Nice church, just outside Flåm town center. The pictures cannot really capture why this building is such a nice stop while touring. The majestic rural setting combined with the simplistic wooden construction and weathered tiled roof really captures an essence of rural Norwegian life.
  • Amazing place to visit and sit for a few minutes. Grounds are lovely. The locals are very lucky to have a beautiful piece of history still available.
