As Drøbak is the official home of Santa, it could be interesting to stop by here. I find the merchandise expensive and too kitchy for my taste. They have a some cute julenisser with beads. more »

The Julehus is supposed to be a cornerstone for visitors to Drøbak, but we were disappointed. Mostly Chinese imports, no genuine Norwegian Christmas stuff! Not much to bring home for the Season. more »

This is one of those places that I think you should be visiting, if you are in the area, just to take few pictures, and maybe even buy some toys for the Christmas tree, though that could be problematic since most of them are made of really thin glass and transportation of such a fragile beauty is a logistic nightmare. Take a video, just to enjoy it later, the place is decorated thematically, i think it's more of the local attraction, than a store.
