Visit Bindhya Basini Temple, a temple dedicated to the goddess Bhagwati where both Hindu and Buddhist communities come to worship. Locals pray at the temple, holding a range of ceremonies, the most common being weddings. To get to the temple you need to climb 50 stairs, but the natural scenery surrounding the site and the importance of the temple make the climb worth it. At 914 m (3,000 ft) above sea level, the site offers breathtaking views of the Annapurna Ranges. Before you enter the temple, make sure to take your shoes off and wear conservative clothes.     a small temple in the pkr city. located on a small hillock. the view is good on a clear day. a bit overrated due to the spiritual reason. nothing significant to see.  more »

    It is a famous religious place & temple of Nepalese. People go there for worshipping goddess Bindhyabasini. There is also a beautiful garden where people meet each other & get happiness from the garden where various kinds of flowers are bloomed ! If you nearby Pokhara don't forget to go Bindhyabasini temple.

    Important place religiously. Being an agnostic, this place is interesting for me. It has got a great story regarding its origin. The view of the mountains from this place is just amazing. I am hoping for the managing team of the temple to better the cleanliness effort to preserve the beauty of the place.
