World heritage site · Historic Site · Landmark
When in Kathmandu, don’t forget to pay a visit to Kathmandu Durbar Square, a World Heritage Site surrounded by historic buildings. Although the square has suffered extensive damage in the 2015 earthquake, many of the buildings remain standing and some will undergo refurbishments. Enjoy the traditional Nepalese architecture of the spacious square and get a feel for the Kathmandu city atmosphere. Admire the house of the Kumari, left unscathed in the earthquake, where the virgin goddess lives until reaching puberty. If you’re lucky, you may catch a glimpse of her passing by a window. • Located at centre of Kathmandu, and a cool place to visit, especially at night. The night life with a group of best friends and a local cup of tea makes it wonderful. Pretty crowded during the day, still a better place to have some delighting dishes.
  • The most valuable history from Nepal showing and preserving how the royal family love the country can be seen here . We can analyze how talented were the people back then from the gigantic structures and their engineering technique with out any knowledge of theory. This is only in Land of Nepal were gods and devil used to come for spending their holidays .. so we are human why not us lets come once in a while and enjoy this beautiful city of Temple, art, history, and culture .
