Louis II Stadium, Fontvieille

#3 of 7 in Fun & Games in Monaco
Fun & Games · Sports Complex
Home to AS Monaco Football Club, Louis II Stadium provides short tours in multiple languages. Opened in 1985, the stadium was built to replace an older stadium on land reclaimed from the ocean. With a seating capacity of 18,500, the stadium is large enough to seat nearly two-thirds of Monaco's population. The tour takes in the multi-sports court, the swimming pool, and the changing rooms where AS Monaco FC prepares for matches. If you're interested in an organized tour, call first, as the website does not always carry accurate information about opening times. • A gorgeous stadium!

One big highlight is the Diamond League Meeting each July. Chances are you'll see a world record and at the end of the meeting there are always fireworks.
  • A beautiful stadium. Lovely to watch football with family.
