Long, wide stretches of white sand, numerous playgrounds, and a plethora of water sports make the Blue Flag Ventspils Beach a favorite spot for locals and visitors. Stretching for 1.2 km (0.7 mi) along the Baltic, the site has beach spots as wide as 80 m (260 ft) and features impressive sand dunes nearby, which can reach up to 9 m (30 ft) tall. The water's gradual slope makes the beach suitable for both beginners and expert swimmers. Rent a lounge chair or spread out your towel, go for a swim, or just have a picnic at this scenic spot.     A nice, clean beach. A great place to spend a hot summer day with friends and family. A walk along the coast, a morning run, beach volleyball, great view, refreshing seawater, all that and more. A very peaceful place, great for relaxing and meditation. It can get crowded during the hot summer days
