Visit Tervete Nature Park, a forest filled with rough wooden bridges and houses, as well as eco-friendly activities. Depending on the season, the site is a mecca for swimmers, hikers, and cross-country skiers, but the most prominent visitors are children. The 1,200 hectare (3,000 acre) park is also filled with centuries-old pine trees, more than 70 endangered plants, and a variety of birds, reptiles, and amphibians.     Great place for family with children! This time we only took the small part with the enchanted fairy tale forest with the tiny dwarf homes and the lookout tower. But we have been here several...  more »

    Simply amazing! So much nice places and activities. The place also has rentable bikes and scooters. The view from the watch tower is amazing. All the dwarf cities are really cool! I have visited this place in 2009 and after 10 years it only improved and became more fun. 10/10 Would come here again!

    Amazing park/forest with lots of activities for the kids and plenty great views for the adults. Trees so long they scrape the sky. Enough eating spots and toilets inside the park. Make sure you have few hours free to walk around as the park is big. Bird watching tower is a must see. 39m high wooden structure that itself is very impressive.
