  I love this place. The garden is terrific. So beautiful and well executed. Please add more rest places

  Although the glass houses were good, very well kept and clean and tidy, we found the labelling rather odd with the cultivar names being given prominence over the botanical names and provenance of the plants. There was no interpretation in any other language than Latvian. Outside there were lots of flower beds with peonies and roses and lilies etc but it was more of a garden, rather than a "botanical" garden. The further you got from the entrance the fewer the labels - even the labelling of the trees seemed to Peter out so we could only tell we were in the area that was ostensibly Siberia for instance by looking at our map and we learnt nothing. It was rather disappointing I'm sad to say.
