Beautiful castle on the river side in Bauska. A half of the castle is renovated and is ready for visitors. The entrance price is €4 at the moment until all castle will be renovated. The old part of the castle is nice to see too as it’s original castle remains! Inside the castle is museum and a small cafe. Museum could have more information in English and directions where is allowed to go. I think if staff would speak in English would be easier for tourists. All staff are dressed in old times clothes which makes you to feel the spirit of old times. The castle is nice to visit just once as here is not too much to see, but around the castle or in the castles yard is happening some events over the weekends. But definitely worth to visit!

Although it is not the original building but reconstructed one it was still interesting to visit this place. Not so packed as Rundala castle. You can walk through the old castle which has really good descriptions everywhere of the rooms, the history and the displays. Still, the majority of the texts were in Lithuanian, some without any translation, it was still an awesome place to visit. The staff English was a bit weak but at least we were able to talk in Russian and learn more about the venue. In the time of our visit there was also a wine and grape demonstration which was interesting to see and have a taste of different ones.
