    This museum isn't a contemporary museum, even though you would think that from Google searches, so for me it was a disappointment. But the spaces were beautiful and there was a pretty nice variety of (art) decades and a few really famous pieces. First picture shows how beautiful the roofs were.

    The modern collection is not very varied, and lacks of truly outstanding artworks, imho it is not exactly worth the money if you buy just a single ticket to the Ca' Pesaro (but you can always buy a museum pass for Venice and go see other museums here so for the price it's still a bargain). The Oriental collection consists mostly of Japanese weaponary and antiques, of which there are a lot of, and I suppose it will please many fans of Japanese culture. I personally also expected artifacts from other Oriental, or at least East Asian lands, so I was let down a bit, but if Japanese culture is your jam, then I would suggest you pay the place a visit.
