  Of the hundreds of hotels I have stayed in around the world, our experience here was a Top 5 of all time (and I'm trying not to over state it). The setting, the staff, the breakfast (oh, did I mention "the setting" because it deserves to be mentioned twice) all we're excellent. The view over the lake, after busy hikes and visits in the towns, was exactly was needed. It felt like our own private hideaway. Easy walk into town for dinners. Yes, definitely a winner!

  Highly recommended. Beautiful building and spectacular botanical gardens. Warm and welcoming staff. We stayed in a standard double room which was spacious, clean with a partial view of the lake and mountains. We were able to use the swimming pool of the hotel next door which was a pleasant surprise.
