  • Having all positive and negative reviews in mind, I would still suggest to visit this place and spend your afternoon there. The museum is a bit "tired" and has a shabby appearance. It is situated in.....  more »

  • We went there because it was a rainy day and we saw on the website that there was an indoor playground for small kids. When we were in the museum we found out that this was closed (due to Covid). We totally respect this decision but it should be better advised on the website or at the reception as this was not clear at all. Other than this its a very nice museum where you can easily spend a few hours. The flight simulator was cool.
  • When i had to wait for my girlfriend to arrive at Malpensa i went to Volandia to kill the time. As a commercial pilot I always wanted to go to Volandia but never could seem to find the time, so this was the perfect occasion. I genuinely enjoyed the museum, most explecations are in Italian and English and they did their utmost best to make it interesting for children and adults. The museum neutrally presents airplanes from the 2nd WW and the evolution of turbine aircraft. Besides aircraft they also had an exhibition of Bertoni and a whole wing dedicated to outer space. The staff is very friendly and ready to explain everything if you have questions. If you are interested in history, design and aeronautics than this is certainly a museum you have to visit.
