  This is an impressive pile. However it was still a surprise to learn that it’s the largest opera house in Italy, outstripping Milan’s La Scala or Venice’s La Fenice. It's the 3rd largest in the world....  more »

  We were so fortunate to be in Palermo to experience a semi stage production of Don Giovanni in a time of Covid The covid precautions were very strict as expected and the success of future productions....  more »

  Stunning venue. Went to an evening show and it was an incredible experience. The acoustics are phenomenal and the decor is beautiful

  The biggest opera house in Italy and the third biggest in Europe should have a better conservation. The place is very beautiful and the ceiling has marvelous paintings. However the conservation is not good, what is a pity for the importance of the place. In addition there are no presentations on summer due to the heat inside. I recommend the guided tour for EUR 8,00.
