Parco Archeologico Pausilypon has an entrance through the Cave of Sejanus, a 700 m (2,300 ft) tunnel. This tunnel connects the valley of Gaiola to the plain of Bagnoli. After passing through the cave or coming in via the alternative entrance, you’ll find the Imperial Villa of Pausilypon, containing a theater with 2,000 seats, as well as the first-century BCE Palace of the Spirits. A sea excursion allows you to admire the remains of the underwater Gaiola park, a protected marine area. Arrive early, as access to some areas may be restricted before closing time.     Outstanding archeological memento of the Roman age. The guided tour is great, and walks you through what the site originally was. Stunning views as well!Amazing place must add to your visit list. Tricky to get to, the buses are every hour!

    Very pretty..nicely kept. Great views of the sea. The park is small..but the tunnel is amazing. No parking in site..no bathrooms, giftshop or vending. Bring sunscreen and own water.
