Spiaggia di Macari, San Vito lo Capo

#2 of 161 in Outdoors in Province of Trapani
Beach · Nature / Park
Halfway between the Zingaro nature reserve and Mount Cofano, Spiaggia di Macari offers a narrow sandy beach with clear water shaded with turquoise. Several coves and cliffs surround the large bay of which this beach is part. You may momentarily think that you’re in the Caribbean. If you’re looking for a bite to eat in the nearby fishing village, try the panini con panelle in Cafe Europa. If you’re up for a hike, climb the mountain. The nature reserve contains its own beaches as well. • Beautiful sandy beach. Might be very windy. Free parking.
  • Beach is ok but in the water there are plenty of sea grass and similar things. Nothing special during swimming. Don't recommend for swimming.
