  It was a very interesting place, with a lot of history. We had a great English speaking guide who could answer all our question. If you are in the area, I would definitely recommend going here!  more »

  Very interesting tour in the old Montevecchio mine that was operational till 1991

  if you like industrial archeology this is a place you cannot miss. the ticket office is in the upper part of the hill. the tours start at 10am in the morning and you can split the visit in 4 parts, the director's palace, the house of miners, the extractor machine and the laboratories. the full ticket to visit all the 4 parts is 14€ and the visit takes around 3/4 hours. it is better to call to be sure about visiting hours.
