#4 of 10 in Wildlife in Province of Carbonia-Iglesias
Beach · Hidden Gem · Wildlife Area
Tucked away in a narrow cove and sheltered from wind by rugged limestone cliffs, Spiaggia di Cala Fico is a small and secluded rocky beach that offers good opportunities for snorkeling, diving, and underwater fishing. The crystal waters, which change color from emerald green to turquoise blue, are home to many species of fish. It takes a bit of scrambling over rocks and through Mediterranean shrubbery to get to this wild beach, but its tranquil atmosphere and views make it well worth the effort. • Lovely cove, crystal clear water. Lots of fish to see when snorkeling. No amenities though, so bring water. Pebble beach.
