Admire sweeping views of Lake Como from Faro voltiano, a lighthouse dominating a vast valley. Built in 1927, this octagonal tower stands 29 m (95 ft) tall and offers gorgeous panoramas of the surroundings. Named after scientist Alessandro Volta, who lived in Brunate for a while, the lighthouse has a spiral staircase with 143 steps leading to the top.
