    This wasn’t the stuffy Barolo wine museum I was expecting. Some exhibits are more like avant-garde art exhibits more than displays about wine. Still, the Castel is beautiful, there are great views...  more »

    I'm a big fan of visiting museums. But wine is like sex. Better bad live than good with a mummy. You will feel here as in these prolific sex museums (in Amsterdam, Reykjavik). Don't spend 8 euros...  more »

    This is a complete joke. Dont waste your money - the the ‘exhibits’ are chincy and tacky and teach you nothing about wine or wine production. I was appalled as someone whom has studied wine for decades and seen many of the fine specialty museums in Italy. Form example, a fine Italian museum is the national auto museum in Turin, this is not to be missed and is innovative and compelling in its’ presentation and detail. But, the wine museum is simply a tourist trap of meaningless tackiness with no informative value.

    With museum card it was fun, but I would not pay for it. The wine tasting is waste of money. They will let you try only one small glass of wine per person for each more glass you have to pay extra.
