Last occupied in the late 50's this peaceful retreat is a small boat ride away from the West Kerry Coast. Nestled in the heart of Tralee Bay, the Slieve Mish Mountains provide a dramatic backdrop of breath-taking scenery which will only add to your overall experience.     Took some beautiful pictures of the lighthouse during sunset in early September. Fenit harbour and surrounding area was a great experience. West End restaurant is a treasure.  more »

    Fenitvis stunning, it really is. The lighthouse is best seen from the end of the pier high up near the statue or St Brendan, but from anywhere along the pier really or the coastal walkway. It's on a....  more »

    My mum loves lighthouses, so I booked a tour for us. It was fantastic! We were taken by boat to the island and given a guided tour of the lighthouse. A little piece of history in Fenit. The surrounding area is gorgeous.
