#1 of 105 in Beaches in Ireland
Stretching for 5 km (3.1 mi) along the Dingle Peninsula on Ireland's West Coast, Inch Beach attracts outdoor enthusiasts with plenty of space and a range of water sports, such as windsurfing, kayaking, hangliding, and fishing. The Blue Flag beach features a wide strip of soft golden sand that gently slopes into the clear, but chilly, waters. Tourist facilities include a restaurant, parking, and public restrooms. The beach can get crowded in the summer. Put Inch Beach on your schedule, and learn what else deserves a visit by using our Inch tour planner.

  • Great open expanse of beach. Can drive on it with easy access. Can be busy on weekends even on very cold days. If you can go on a week day and you could even have the place to yourself.  more »
  • We stopped and enjoyed the beautiful views at Inch Beach on our drive down to Dingle. Definitely worth stopping!  more »
