I live quite close to here in Trim, we come every chance we can, it’s historic and the view is fantastic. Great place to take the dog for a walk, it’s got a visitor Center and a nice little tea shop. It’s a national monument so please, please respect it and take your litter and dog pooh away with you. St Patrick lived here, which makes it a place of devotion as well.

Fantastic site to visit. Read up on the myths and legends before you visit that way you can soak up the area and imagine Kings inaugurations, warriors feasting, families travelling for weeks to get here for the great gatherings. Wonderful place.
