The Quiet Cailin Studios, Cong

My parents and I took a 3 week trip overseas with one of our stops being in Cong, Ireland, where we stumbled across The Quiet Cailin Studios. Not knowing what we were looking for, just mesmerized tourists, we looked around briefly at the lovely treasures this little shop had to offer. We hadn't planned on making any purchases, however, as I exited the shop my jaw dropped and I almost knocked over a book display as I frantically grabbed a copy of a book called Song of the Sea that I had almost missed! Trying to apologize to the owner of the shop for my klutziness, I quickly explained to her that we had to have the book because my little sister back home is the biggest fan of the movie Song of the Sea as well as The Secret of Kells. She was nothing short of wonderful, lovely, and extremely helpful as she got us a brand new copy and even showed us that she also had The Secret of Kells soundtrack. She had a deal going on her CD's so she helped us choose a second one, asking us what we were in the mood for on our journey (we wanted upbeat). She handed us one and said, "if this one doesn't make you wanna get up and dance I'll give you your money back!" Long story short, we didn't leave her shop empty handed. We had a great experience and will visit again in our future travels!
