Cliff at Lyons, Celbridge

Had an amazing experience at Cliff at Lyons. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and very helpful. The setting is beautiful and our room was incredibly luxurious with views of the pond and canal. I have to say that the dinner was one of the best I've had, and having a table with a view of the kitchen was actually very interesting and informative. It was a joy to watch the chef producing wonderful plates of food. Breakfast was also flawless and delicious.

A beautiful place in a lovely country side setting, only half an hour away from Dublin. By far one of the best places I have stayed in a long time! I checked in late but they had a member of the staff waiting for me at the reception to guide me around for my room. I was working during day time so couldn't spend as much time on premises as I would have liked. The room was at the Mayors house, which surprises with a lovely lake and fountain when you see in the daylight. The whole ambience makes you feel like being in a little village from some Victorian time. All staff from The Manager down were very courteous and welcoming. Makes you want to return time and again to experience the beauty and serenity of the place. Full marks!
